Can you believe it??? I actually am ahead and made the kids Valentines this year! And they are done before Valentine's Day!! Aren't you proud of me?? Well, I am proud of me!
The first Valentine is for my daughter. I saw some fish cards on the internet by various people, and thought this would make a cute Valentine! Cheyenne is on this fish kick. She's always asking me to cut out some fish out of paper, so that she can decorate them and then hang them on her walls. So I thought she would appreciate the fish on this one. Although now that I think about it, she will probably be asking me to make some of these for her next. I used the Ornament Punch by Stampin' Up, and the fins are using the 5-Petal flower punch. The eyes I cheated a little and used the eyes from Owl punch. The hearts are punched using the Heart-to-heart punch. The paper is from my stash, but since it was a water print, I thought it went well with the card! The sentiment I typed on the computer.
The second card is for my son. When I thought about a card for him, this is the set that came to mind. The aliens are from "Greetings, Earthling" set by Stampin' Up. The hearts in between the aliens are punched using the Heart-to-heart punch. The hearts in the background are stamped with some old heart stamps I have in my stash, and are stamped using VersaMark. I colored the images using my Stampin' Write Markers.
The last picture is Valentines that I made for the kids that go to my school. I was inspired by the ones that Cheyenne made for her class. I made pink ones for the girls, and the white ones for the boys. Inside there are cherry flavored lollipops.

Valentine for my son

As soon as I saw this stamp set I KNEW I needed it! It is the new clear Mount "Fox and Friends" stamp set by Stampin' Up! My son's nickname is Chunky Monkey, or Monkey Butt. LOL I know, I know, it just kind of stuck! :) And he is proud of it! He tells all kinds of strangers that his real name is Chunky Butt and his pretend name is Cameron! He used to be just monkey, because he climbs EVERYWHERE!

Ok so anyway, I knew I had to make him a monkey Valentine! The background is using Stampin Up's new embossing folder. The sentiment I did on the computer and then colored it in with my stampin write markers. The bananas are actually different stickers I had on hand. Each banana is a separate sticker, I just stuck them together on white cardstock to make a bunch and then cut ti out. The hearts are made using two different punches by Stampin Up. The new mini heart punch and the Love you Bunches heart punch (I think that is what is called). then I just gave the hearts and bananas dimension using the dimensionals!

Valentine for my Daughter

I have had this background stamp FOREVER! I never really knew what to do with it. But when I was sitting down to make my daughter's Valentine card it called to me. I stamped it once, and then pick and chose which candy sayings I wanted stamped them out cut out, and colored them then added glitter! Then used dimensionals to pop out some of the sayings. The great thing about that is that the yellow heart that was where I wanted some dimension, said "Hot Stuff" not good for my Daughter, so I stamped one that said "Hug me" instead! All of the ribbon/cardstock used was stuff i had on hand. I did the border using my Scallop border punch. I think it turned out cute, and better yet...she loved it!!!

Love/Valentine's Fronts

I created these for my Monthly Card Front SWAP on Cricut.com. The theme for January was Love/Valentines. I used all different shades of reds and pinks and just a little black also. I had to change some of the brads, as I started out with heart brads, but ran out, so I finished up some of them with some crystal brads.
