I know I haven't been posting for a while on this Blog. It's not because I haven't been creating. I have. I have just been lazy and haven't been pulling out the camera like I should be! I'm going to try to rectify that situation. I am going to start by showing these cards. The theme for April's cards for my Addicted to Cardmaking cards which I host on my favorite MB, is "Pretty Papers". Now granted these are not the prettiest papers I have, but I find that they are challenging! I mean really what more can you say?? Happy Birthday is printed all over the paper! I saw a layout similar to this on display in a chain craft store. There's had paper with buttons all over it, and they tore the paper and stamped a sentiment on the cardstock. I knew I didn't need any more sentiments, so I went instead with an image of some birthday candles. And since those packs of papers that you get come with the same papers in multiple colors, I made a few in each color. I used my Marvelous Markers to color in the image, and I must say I think the colors match pretty well! I am so glad it's Spring!! I was able to shoot these pictures out in the Pine trees that line my driveway. I looked around for flowers, but alas, they are few and far between here at my house. Now dandelions....we have plenty of those!
I was pointed in the direction of this charity by a fellow Stampin Up Demonstrator, Melissa. They can use donations of cards, either Handmade, or Store bought for residents of nursing homes. What a great way to share your creativity, while brightening the day of others!!! Here is their website:
Please remeber that if you are interested in any of the Stampin Up Products shown here, that I am a Demonstrator, and would be very happy to assist you! Leave a comment, or shop through my website: http://www.stampinup.net/esuite/home/gina_thornton/ Thank you for the opportunity to serve you!

A mother of a 5 year old boy and a 8 year old girl. I love being a mom! I married a guy I met in first grade! We married May 18th, 2002.
I wanted to have a place that I could show some of my creations. When my sister is able to visit she always asks me what I have been working on, so I thought this way I could keep her updated! It's also a way to show some of my other friends and family what I have been working on! This also gives me a little push to get some things made and posted.
I hope you enjoy the things you find here, and maybe even find some inspiration! Some of the things found on my Blog are by Stampin' Up! Ask me how you can get the stamps, or feel free to look at the current catalog found in the sidebar.(it will download, it takes a few minutes). Feel free to ask me any questions!
