Christmas Card using Snow Swirled

I made this card for a shoebox swap for my Stampin’ Up group , The Philly Inkers. I used the Real Red cardstock as a back ground. I stamped “En Francois” background with black StazOn ink. Then on Whisper White cardstock I stamped the tree and sentiment from “Snow Swirled” in Glorious Green Classic Ink. I attached that to Glorious Green Cardstock, and tied it up with ¼” Real Red Grosgrain ribbon. I attached that to the Real Red card. To give it a little shine I added some Dazzling Diamonds to the tree. I must say that I am very proud of this card!

Big on Christmas

I made this Card front for a Monthly Card front swap I am hosting on Cricut.com, and also for a swap for my Stampin’ Up group. I used the Big On Christmas set from Stampin’ Up. I stamped the image on the Whisper White cardstock, matted it on Bashful Blue. I then used bleach with the snowflakes from the “Season of Joy” and the “Short and Sweet” sets from Stampin’ Up. I used the Brilliant Blue Cardstock for the background. I must say when I made them, I used two different qualities of cardstock. I made some with the Brilliant Blue from Stampin’ Up (shown in this picture) and some with a dark blue I bought at a store. The ones I made with Stampin’ Up’s cardstock came out much clearer, with the bleach.

Get Well Card House-Mouse

I made this card using a card I had received from a swap with my Stampin' Up group as a template. I made this one for KellPieJo's swap on Cricut.com. I focused on a smaller part of the House-Mouse stamp as seen in the last picture. I think it turned out pretty well. I didn't have any patterned paper to do the stamp justice so I used a dotted border stamp from savvystamps. There is a little Daffodil
stamped behind the sentiment, that is from Purple Daisy Designs, and the sentiment is from rubber soul. Luckily I recieved one back from that SWAP so I was able to update my pictures!

Masculine cards

I created these cards for the November theme of Masculine cards, for the (2008) Addicted to Cardmaking SWAP on Cricut. I ran the green through my Cuttlebug with the Distressed Stripes folder. The Fish is a stamp by Inkadinkadoo. I knew I liked that stamp when I bought it way back when. I finished it up with a little bit of Hemp tied on!

HI friends!

I wanted to say how much I enjoy reading the comments from all of my friends at Cricut.com! Let me tell you, itf it were not for that site, ALL my crafting goodies would still be collecting dust! Thanks for all the great comments! And please keep them coming! I love ya ladies!!!!!

Crab and Company Card

I made this card for the Philly Inkers group as well. It features the Crab and Company Stampin Up set. I sort of "scraplifted" the design from my good friend Terri. I love how her card looked and was in a pinch to make something. She said she didn't mind! Thanks again Terri!

Season Of Joy card

I made this card for a swap for the Philly Inkers Group. I used real red and glorious green cards stock. On Whisper White I stamped the tree from the Season of Joy Stampin Up set. I then used adhesive over the entire white piece and added Stampin Up's Dazzling Diamonds. I love this technique, as there is no need to use your heat gun!

Season of Friendship

I love how this card turned out!! I made this one for a swap with the Philly Inkers group. First I used Very Vanilla cardstock. I crumpled up saran wrap and dabbed it into three colors, Real Red, Old Olive and So Saffron. I adhered the very vanilla to the red riding hood cardstock and then again to the old Olive, I then stamped the sentiment on Old Olive Cardstock adhered to the card and Viola!
I love that this set is so versitile! It comes with the tree (which I stamped in Chocolate chip) and then a few different smaller stamps, including the leaves, a bird, snowflakes and a flower. So you can change the look of the tree for the season!

I think I am all caught up now!

Ok I think I am now all caught up with my creations now! I have them all photographed and posted. Now I get to go and work on some more projects!!!
I hope to get back sooner then did last month! I just have been sick and got all caught up in some stuff on the Cricut Website. But Iam over all that and now I hope to get back to my crafting! Until next time.....

Birthday Tag

I made this Birthday tag for CricutJenn's "6 months of tags SWAP". The theme for October is Birthday. I did the corners using my new tag corner punch from Stampin Up. I never could get my edges straight so that punch is PERFECT!! The sentiment reads "Happy Birthday How Many finger are you?". It originally also said "Shane O'Donnell age 4" on it but I had to cut that off to fit it onto the tag. Tht stamp is by Ikadinkadoo. I used a flower stamp that I had been RAKd from the Cricut Website. It is by StampCraft.

Card using my Card Candies

I made this card using the card candies I made for my Kids Related SWAP. The theme was "Hang In There". I used the Chintango monkey stamp, and a "hang in there" stamp in the Chintango goup. I ran the background through my CuttleBug machine, and then inked it using a Brilliance Stamp pad.

Fall Card Candies

I made these Card Candies for my Monthly Card Candy SWAP. I love how these are so simple, yet are so fancy as well. The Cornicopia is by Inkadinkadoo. I stamped it, then ran it right side down through my Xyron machine. Then I sprinkled it with fine glitter that I had gotten at Michael's. I also tried using the Extra fine glitter, but they didn't sparkle quite as much! I included two sentiments so they reciever could choose which they wanted. The sentiments are by HeroArts and come as a set of 6.

Halloween Recipe SWAP

These two Layouts I did for LKRhodes's Halloween Recipe LO SWAP on Cricut.com. The
6x6 is for "Black Bat Punch". a I used the bat stick and bat Stubby from StampsByJudith.com. The larger bat is done using Scrapbook paint and a foam stamp by Making Memories. The 8X8 is for "Hot Witches Brew". I used a new die cut from Sizzix for the Witches apparel.

"Add a Sentiment" Cards

I made these cards for the two groups in Bre's "Add a Sentiment" SWAP on Cricut.com
They are using an older set from Stampin Up that I got as a Hostess Set many moons ago! The hearts in the background of the girl card is a stubby by StampsByJudith.com The blue patterned paper is from a pack of paper I had from "Scrapbook Wizard's Scrapbook Pack Mini #1."

Monkey ATC

These cute little Chintango monkeys were perfetct for a SWAP I joined on SplitCoastStampers hosted by 2goofy. I needed to have a mokkey and at least one embelishment.

Even more "You Choose ATCs"!!

Here are more ATC for the You Choose ATC SWAP that I hosted on Cricut.com.

The themes for these were "girly" and "Love"

Christmas Tags

I made these for CricutJenn's Christmas Tag SWAP on Cricut.com. I used an older Stampin Up set called "Tags for All". I cut the tags using my Fiskars circle cutter (which I still can't seem to figure out!) The background stamps (the polka dots) is by All Night Media.

I love how they turned out!

Card from a Sketch

I did these cards for a SWAP on Cardmaker.com the SWAP was held by Lora. I used my Scallop punch from Stampin Up, and the paper is from the Butterflies and Blossoms Mat Stack from DCWV. Someone from Cricut was sweet enough to RAK the stack to me. (Unfortunatly I can't remember who it is so if you read this and it was you, let me know so I can edit it!!!!)

White with Wire theme

I made these two cards for CardJunkie from Cricut's white with wire theme. I have had this heart stamp...forever!!!! Since my teen years! It was nice to pull it out to use again! I used the wild wire peg board that I bought centuries ago to make the wire shapes. I used two different color wire, red 18 gauge, and tinned copper at 24 gauge. I had all that stuff from way back too! I also used white brads for the red wire, and silver ones for the tinned wire. I did the background with my D'Vine swirls embossing folder from Cuttlebug! (that is newer!!)

13 days of Halloween Layout SWAP

I signed up for this one with MrsSuzan on Cricut. I must say I had fun with these, and I can not wait until the LOs come back to see all the other great work!
I signed up to do 6 candy Corn and 3 Friendly ghosts. I used the Cricut to cut out the 3 friendly ghosts. I used the negatives for the "Friendly Ghosts". The ghosts are cut using my Sizzix die cuts. Hey and look there is that "Whimsy" jumbo roller stamp again from Stampin Up! Did I mention I love that one??
I used some of the Hundreds of sheets of Alphabet stickers for the "candy corn". The candy corn was all cut by hand. I had to have David look up the color order of the Candy corn. I can never remember the order of the colors! I don't like candy corn, so I never really studied them!

Thanks for looking!

Kids rellated SWAP

I made these cards for a Kids related SWAP that I am hosting on Cricut.com. They were to be thnking of you cards. I used the Brilliance stamp pads (which I love!)

I edged it with the new Stampin Up Scallop border punch.

I know it is not real interesting, but at the moment best I can do!

I know I have been MIA! Sorry!

I have so many things to update here....but I can't do it right now! My virus protection is running and I can't get the camera to upload right now! UGH!

Let me go see if therei anything I already uploaded that I can post so that I don't get poked with Kelly's stick!!!

Fall Harvest card

Here is the card I created for a Fall Harvest card. I liked it so much, I used it for another SWAP as well. The swirls in the background is the Whismy jumbo roller by Stampin Up! Have I mentioned I love that roller? The image is a stamp by Inkadinkadoo. The sentiment is from a set by Hero Arts.

Fall tags

I love how this turned out! It is my first tag I have made! I made it for CricutJenn's 6 months of tags SWAP. I used the Jumbo roller by Stampin Up! called "Whimsy". I inked it using the Versamark stamp pad. The letters I cut "fall" out in are by QuicKutz, (I believe that was the Ginger font). The little leaves are by Jolee's. The ribbon is from Micheal's. I can't wait to see what I am going to do for next month's tags!
Be on the lookout for more with this versitile Jumbo Rolling stamp!

Even more "You choose ATCs"

These are my "Boys" and "Black and white" ATCs for the You choose ATCs. The rocket is by Inque Boutique. I did the Black and white one using my D'Vine Swirls Cuttlebug folder. I inked the white cardstock with black ink, and then again with the silver Brilliance ink. I love this folder! It makes such simple, but elegant cards!

More You choose ATCs

These are for the "Christmas" and "Birthday" groups in the you choose ATCs. I used my trusty Galaxy pen on Santa's beard to give him some sparkle. I don't like how the crown turned out on the Birthday ATCs. I may have to restamp them and add them on top of the gold ones. If time allows!

You choose ATCs

This is the fourth time I have tried to upload this, eveytime the internet stops working, and I have to start all over, so I hope it works this time!

Anyway, these are the "Floral" ATCs I made for the ou choose ATC SWAP. I tried to upload more then one picture at a time instead of each ATC, but that didn't work either. I had fun with these! Thanks for looking! I did the border in Silver with a sponge and the Brilliance stamp pads.

Distress Inks "tutorial"

Below is a "tutorail" I did. I know it isn't the best (by far) but it is what I came up with!
There really are no instructions on how to use Distress Inks. I went to a Grand Opening at a local Scrapbook store, and they showed us how to use them. You are supposed to spray them with water! Who knew? Well, I know it isn't great, but I hope it helps!

Q s for Quest for Candy

This is the second page that I did for Mrs Suzan's Halloween ABC book on Cricut.com. I didn't know coloring 28 images could make your eyes go so buggy! I do now!

Asian ATC

I am really into Asian themed stuff right now! When Elaine on the Cricut board suggested an Asian themed ATC I was all over it! I got the great paper from a LSS "The Cropping Station" in Colmar, PA.
This one and the God Bless the USA are both for the You choose ATC SWAP that I am hosting on Cricut.com. There will be more ATCs from other themes coming from this swap in the near future!

God Bless the USA ATC

I am not overly happy with this ATC. It did take awhile to do, with the glittering and all, but I don't know. I wanted to post it here and see what you all think. Keep it, or bag it???

Distress Inks ATC

I went to a make and take at a LSS (Local Scrapbook Store)on Saturday, and learned what I was SUPPOSED to be doing with the distress pads! I made this little Pooh ATC for the Disney SWAP on Cardmakers.com. The sentiment says "Be Happy" It is only half the sentiment (Don't worry, Be Happy) I used markers to color the part that I wanted to use!

I sure am learning a lot!

UnitedByBugsSS Recipe SWAP

I am hosting a Secret Sister group on Cricut called United By Bugs. I decided to host a Recipe SWAP in that group. Here is my addition to it, it is a recipe for Hawaiian Chicken! I blocked out the actual recipe, as someone said that was the thing to do! My family loves this recipe, and it is super easy!

Bleach Technique

I took a card making class at the CKC that used the Bleach technique, but truthfully I was not impressed! I tired it again on this book mark, and I was happy with the results! I made this one for the Bookmark SWAP hosted by Terri on Cricut. I liked them so much, that I decided to also make ATCs like them!

Stamps by Judith - Santa

I think this Santa stamp by StampsbyJudith is really cute! It is Santa on December 26th! Poor guy is tired out! I made these for the Christmas theme for Terri's Bookmark SWAP on Cricut. I have more to show of my Bookmarks, but they will have to wait till tomorrow!
I wanted to get these posted before Kelly gets out her stick to poke me some more!

:-)

Inque Boutique

I made these bookmarks for Terri's "anything goes " theme. I love that little lion stamp! I used the masking technique, to layer the lion over the frame! I laminated these a well. I used a sponge and Brilliance stamp pads to ink the background. I really lie these!

StampsByJudith- Skinny Witch

I joined a Bookmark SWAP being hosted by my good friend Terri, on the Cricut website. These were the bookmarks I made for the Fall theme. I think they turned out really cute. I don't know how to make tassles, so I laminated the bookmarks instead! I used the Lg Skinny Witch stamp, I think she is cute!

TheStencilCollection Autumn Card Front

I made these card fronts using a stecil I bought at the Creating Keepsakes Convention. I also used TheStencilCollection's chalks, they are smear proof! They are in the set seen below. They are awesome! I like chalks again!

Just Flying By

I used the "Just Flying By" set from Stampin' Up! for this card front SWAP that I am in on Papercrafters. The ribbon is new, I just got it at Michael's. I thought it was kind of cute! I used my Stampin' Up! watercolor pencils and a new blending pen I bought at CKC, it's by Dove.

Cinnamon with Circles

Here are the cards I made for CardJunkies Montly SWAP. The theme was Cinnamon with Circles. The leaf stamp is a stubby from StampsByJudith.com. The Scallop square was cut using a Cuttlebug die that I recieved from my SS! The ribbon is from Michael's. The stiment is from Hero Arts.

Booglie Eyes by Stampin' Up!

Ok so my friend Kelly from Cricut said she likes to prod people when they don't post on their blog for a hile, so here I am! Hope this is fast enough for you Kelly, I just got your message, what 5 minutes ago?? :-)
Anyway these are the cards I did for a Halloween Card swap on Cricut for BeckyM. The little mummy one, was done using the mask technique. Man did that take forever, but I like how it turned out! The Frankenstein is a little plain, but after all those Mummies, my stampin arm needed a break!

By the way, ignore the date stamp! The batteries died, and I didn't change it! Bad Gina!
