I am still playing with taking pictures in my light box. I did get a bigger box, but I need a brighter light I think. Or maybe less tissue paper? I have the poster board in there now at least. Anyway I made these card fronts for my Card Front swap on my Fav MB. The theme was shapes. You had to incorporate some sort of Geometric shape in the background of your cards. I have a stack of paper that has a bunch of this square papers in that I never know what to do with, so it worked out perfect for this! The sentiment is from Stampin' Up's now retired set "Think Happy Thoughts". I used my Stamp-a-ma-jig to line up the flower in the center of the sentiment. The flower is embossed with white embossing powder. The speckles are done in VersaMark's Dazzle ink. As usual lately, I couldn't decide where to put the sentiment, so I didn't attach it. I originally used this sketch for the card, but I'm not sure I like the sentiment where they have it, I like it more on the bottom, off to the side. This is from PageMaps by BeckyFleck, and can be found in the March Card Maps 2008 Archives.
I was pointed in the direction of this charity by a fellow Stampin Up Demonstrator, Melissa. They can use donations of cards, either Handmade, or Store bought for residents of nursing homes. What a great way to share your creativity, while brightening the day of others!!! Here is their website:
Please remeber that if you are interested in any of the Stampin Up Products shown here, that I am a Demonstrator, and would be very happy to assist you! Leave a comment, or shop through my website: http://www.stampinup.net/esuite/home/gina_thornton/ Thank you for the opportunity to serve you!

A mother of a 5 year old boy and a 8 year old girl. I love being a mom! I married a guy I met in first grade! We married May 18th, 2002.
I wanted to have a place that I could show some of my creations. When my sister is able to visit she always asks me what I have been working on, so I thought this way I could keep her updated! It's also a way to show some of my other friends and family what I have been working on! This also gives me a little push to get some things made and posted.
I hope you enjoy the things you find here, and maybe even find some inspiration! Some of the things found on my Blog are by Stampin' Up! Ask me how you can get the stamps, or feel free to look at the current catalog found in the sidebar.(it will download, it takes a few minutes). Feel free to ask me any questions!
