Green With Envy - Addicted to Cardmaking

I made this card for the theme Green with Envy for my Addicted to Cardmaking swap on my favorite MB. I have to say though that I TOTALLY CASEd this card from my fabulous Upline Claire Lawrence. I just couldn't come up with my own design, and saw the awesome card she made and had to make one myself!!!
I used the new clear mount Vintage Vogue from Stampin' Up (which by the way Claire ENABLED me into getting!). And the background (on the light green) is the rolling stamp So Swirly (retired). I used the Wide Oval Punch and the Coluzzle cutting system. The border was done with Stampin' Up's new Scallop border. The ribbon, and cardstock are all using stuff I had on hand. The inks I used were Perfect Plum, Pale Plum, Garden Green and Certain Celery (I think).

Cards for a Teacher

Cheyenne and I wanted to make something special for her Kindergarten teacher for such a great year. I had made cards like this before, but I guess I never took pictures of them. Anyway Cheyenne liked them and wanted to make them for her teacher. So I rolled out the image using my Stampin Up "So Swirly" Jumbo roller (which by the way is retiring in June! :( Sad about that!) Then we added the blue border, and added that to the red card. We didn't know what her teacher's favorite color was, but figured you couldn't go wrong with red white and blue! The close up shows the little beads that Cheyenne had the job of sticking on! Those little guys are tiny! There were two sizes, this one is the bigger of the two. She did a pretty good job with it though!

Dips recipe Layout SWAP

I joined a swap for Dips on my fav MB, hosted by HeidiK. Now I don’t normally do the layout swaps, because I still feel that my layouts are lacking, but I wanted to do a swap for Pumpkin Dip so I went ahead and joined. I didn’t want the layout to be overly “in your face” so I decided to start with torn edges, add a little color and design with my Stampin Up rolling stamp, “So Swirly” with my More Mustard Ink pad. I then colored two different Pumpkin stamps that I have with my markers. I used Dimensionals to adhere them to my page. Now, I did run out of colors of the cardstock, so I had to make some of the LOs with grey in the background, and some with the grey in the foreground. I hope that everyone likes them! Also I covered the recipe, as I heard that that was “the thing to do”.

Black with Bling

These were the last card that I made last night/early this morning. I always seem to create better over night! I guess since I don’t have to keep answering “Mom, Mom, MOM!” every 5 minutes!
Anyway I made these cards for CardJunkie’s February theme of Black with Bling. The design is a Stampin Up Jumbo roller, called Whimsy. I LOVE this roller!!!!! It is stamped with StazOn ink. I tore the edges, and adhered them to black cardstock, and again onto white cardstock. Then I used little self adhesive rhinestones I found at Walmart back last summer. Sadly they don’t all carry them anymore. But they used to come in packs of clear and Lime, Clear and Teal, and Clear and Pink. They were in the kids crafts section. I love that they already have the adhesive on them! And they are just perfect for just a little bling! The “hello” is by Karen Foster’s Snap Stamps, it is the small casual font. I love that you can snap them all together and write whatever you want it to say! Saying is stamped in the ColorBox pigment white ink.
