So I was in a little creative slump. Not so much because I wasn’t feeling creative, more so that I have just been too tired to think of something new. So anyway, I needed to make Thinking of you cards for the 2009 Addicted to Cardmaking swap that I host on my fav MB. I wanted to do something simple for this one, mostly so I could get them done since I am a bit behind on things. So here I took the red/pink paper from one of the paper stacks I have, added it to some red cardstock. Then I printed the sentiment on my computer. I cut that down into strips, added it to the card, and used 3 little brads on them. The first one, I wanted it to be feminine. I used my ¾” punch and 1” punch, which are both Stampin’ UP, along with a small scallop circle (EK Success). I used a pop dot to give it dimension. After I made them I was looking at them and thought that I wonder what it would look like if I dropped the flower, and picked out some more “manly” colors. So I tried it. The yellow and blue are going to be used for my Monthly card front swap on my Fav MB.
I was pointed in the direction of this charity by a fellow Stampin Up Demonstrator, Melissa. They can use donations of cards, either Handmade, or Store bought for residents of nursing homes. What a great way to share your creativity, while brightening the day of others!!! Here is their website:
Please remeber that if you are interested in any of the Stampin Up Products shown here, that I am a Demonstrator, and would be very happy to assist you! Leave a comment, or shop through my website: http://www.stampinup.net/esuite/home/gina_thornton/ Thank you for the opportunity to serve you!

A mother of a 5 year old boy and a 8 year old girl. I love being a mom! I married a guy I met in first grade! We married May 18th, 2002.
I wanted to have a place that I could show some of my creations. When my sister is able to visit she always asks me what I have been working on, so I thought this way I could keep her updated! It's also a way to show some of my other friends and family what I have been working on! This also gives me a little push to get some things made and posted.
I hope you enjoy the things you find here, and maybe even find some inspiration! Some of the things found on my Blog are by Stampin' Up! Ask me how you can get the stamps, or feel free to look at the current catalog found in the sidebar.(it will download, it takes a few minutes). Feel free to ask me any questions!
