I needed to make some cards for the folks in my Stampin Up club, and also some cards for my 2009 Addicted to Cardmaking swap. I also wanted to show the difference that using Stampin Up products make when you create a card, so I went ahead and made these. Now please know that I CASEed (Copy and shared everything) from a design by a fellow PhillyInker, Ilina Crouse. (thanks Ilina!) She had designed this card for a ShoeBox swap that we had at one of our PhillyInker meetings. I used the Stampin Up set “Wow Flowers”. The first picture is the two cards together. The card on the top used all products (except the ink colors) that I had purchased at one of the big box stores. In the card below, I used all Stampin Up product. The cardstock is Real Red and Pink Pirouette. The ribbon is the 1/4" Real Red Grosgrain ribbon. I also used the Real Red Classic Ink along with the Pink Pirouette Classic Ink. I used the 1 ¼”, 1 3/8”, 1 inch circle punches, along with the Scallop circle and the scallop border punches, all by Stampin Up.
I was pointed in the direction of this charity by a fellow Stampin Up Demonstrator, Melissa. They can use donations of cards, either Handmade, or Store bought for residents of nursing homes. What a great way to share your creativity, while brightening the day of others!!! Here is their website:
Please remeber that if you are interested in any of the Stampin Up Products shown here, that I am a Demonstrator, and would be very happy to assist you! Leave a comment, or shop through my website: http://www.stampinup.net/esuite/home/gina_thornton/ Thank you for the opportunity to serve you!

A mother of a 5 year old boy and a 8 year old girl. I love being a mom! I married a guy I met in first grade! We married May 18th, 2002.
I wanted to have a place that I could show some of my creations. When my sister is able to visit she always asks me what I have been working on, so I thought this way I could keep her updated! It's also a way to show some of my other friends and family what I have been working on! This also gives me a little push to get some things made and posted.
I hope you enjoy the things you find here, and maybe even find some inspiration! Some of the things found on my Blog are by Stampin' Up! Ask me how you can get the stamps, or feel free to look at the current catalog found in the sidebar.(it will download, it takes a few minutes). Feel free to ask me any questions!
